Maree was born in Quebec, Canada in 1963. He completed his schooling at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch. He attended Stellenbosch University where he obtained honours degrees in Commerce and Accountancy. Maree qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. After five years with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Maree founded the Village & Life Group of Companies in 1994. Being an active sportsman, Maree plays tennis, is an enduro off-road motorbiking enthusiast and he jet ski’s and surfs as often as he can. Maree and his daughter, Emily, lives in Camps Bay. |

Growing up on one of the oldest farms “Coenradenberg” in the Hopefield district, it's easy to see why Sarilize has that old world hospitality charm about her; hence the name Smiley has stuck with her since joining The Farmhouse Hotel in 1997. With 13 years experience and a Diploma in Public Relations, organizing a wedding or special function for our guests is done with farm-girl efficiency and unpretencious hospitality, leaving you spoiled and feeling cared for.

Victoria Booi |

Victoria was born in Ilinge Township in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. She attended Lingelihle Senior Secondary School and in 1996 relocated to West Coast. Victoria worked as chef at Club Mykonos for 11 years before joining The Farmhouse Hotel to take up the post as the Housekeeping Supervisor. Victoria loves spending time with her three beautiful children. |

Handyman - Hendrik Roets |

Handyman Hendrik was born in Pretoria. He attended Sonnits School and for the past 10 years he has lived in the West Coast. He is a true asset to The Farmhouse Hotel family. He enjoys touch rugby and fishing. |
Therapist - Juliet Julies |
 |
Juliet was born in Hopefield and matriculated in 1998. She studied at Langebaan Academy of Health & Beauty and achieved Diploma’s from ITEC & CIDESCO. Juliet finished her studies in 2001, and has been a beauty therapist for 7 years. In her spare time, Juliet enjoys going to the theatre and reading novels. |

| Reservations Consultant - Lindsay Marthinus |

Lindsay grew up in Athlone and attended Garlandale Senior Secondary where she matriculated in 2006. Thereafter, she went on to complete a course in Entrepreneurial Development at the UCT Business School in the V&A Waterfront. Linday has traveled throughout the country visiting a few of our world-famous game lodges. She joined Village & Life in September 2009. Lindsay currently lives with her mom and brother. She loves spending time with her boyfriend, watching controversial documentaries and stand up comedies.

Hotel Accountant - Dayyaan Williams |
 |
Dayyaan grew up in Westridge; Mitchell’s Plain and attended Westridge High School. After matric, he enrolled at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and studied towards a qualification in Internal Auditing. He pursued a career in accounting and worked at MWEB for over 3 years while studying part-time towards a qualification in Forensic Examinations at the University Of Western Cape. After working in accounting, he decided to work from home in the sales industry and submerged himself in personal development training and literature. Dayyaan joined Village & Life in May 2010 as the Hotel Accountant. He lives in Eerste River with his wife and coaches a senior cricket team; he is also a soccer fanatic whom supports Manchester United. Dayyaan plays baseball and was the Junior Western Province and South African Schools coach from 2001 – 2005. |
